Nail Ink and Spa has always been committed to providing the best experiences for our customers. Due to the current health crisis, we are taking additional steps to not only ensure the health and safety of our customers and staff, but to continue to provide the exceptional services that we have become known for.

Dear Nail Ink Family,

 

As you may already know, we are all recovering and moving forward from a tough year for all of us. We strive to provide

a safe environment for everyone at our salon. We understand that everyone is eager and ready to get their lives back to “normal.”

 

CA reopening has lifted some restrictions for the personal care industry, but we are still limited to what we can and cannot do. Please bear with us, as we are learning and implementing the new protocols as they are provided by LA County. We want our customers and staff to feel safe while inside our salon.

 

We are happy to announce that all of our technicians are fully vaccinated.

 

Starting now, if you are fully vaccinated you will be able to get “same time” services. This means you may get your hands and feet done at the same time. PLEASE NOTE: you MUST request same time services at the time of your booking. We cannot guarantee we will be able to provide same time services on the day of your scheduled appointment, once you have checked in.

In order to get same time services, you must provide us proof of vaccination by texting or emailing a picture of your vaccine card. You will also receive a form to fill out at the time of your booking. The form will confirm that you have received your vaccination and will be placed in your file.

 

Please note, you DO NOT have to provide this information if you are not comfortable, but you will not be able to receive same time services.

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

 

*MASKS ARE REQUIRED, even if you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

*STAY HOME IF YOU ARE SICK with a cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fever or chills or if you are currently under quarantine or isolation.

*BE CONSIDERATE and KEEP YOUR DISTANCE (about 2 arms lengths) from others.

*CLEAN YOUR HANDS with soap and water or use hand sanitizer after contact with frequently touched surfaces.

*DO NOT BRING ANY GUESTS, PETS, or CHILDREN with you to your appointment who are not receiving a service. Service animals specifically trained to aid, are welcome.

Nail Ink and Spa has always gone above and beyond to provide a clean salon for our customers. This isn't something new for us. We have 3 fans installed on our ceiling, not only getting rid of uncomfortable nail odor, but filtering the air that we breath. We also have individual manicure table fans, which filter the air in a close proximity. We disinfect and clean the salon every day. We take pride in the cleanliness of our salon.

It is our primary duty to create a safe environment for not only our customers, but our staff. Although we are not aware of when we can re-open, Nail Ink and Spa will take additional steps and follow CDC Guidelines to ensure the safety of our customers and staff. We understand that rules and regulations are subject to changes and we will adjust as that happens. All of our staff will be trained on how to limit the spread of COVID-19.

Temperature check

All employees and customers will have their temperature taken before coming into the salon. Any employee and/or customer with a fever will not be allowed inside the salon.

Wash hands

Customers will be required to wash their hand upon arrival.

Wear shield

All pedicure technicians will not only wear a mask, but also face shields.

Wear mask

All employees and customers will be required to wear a mask at all times inside the salon.

Disinfect area

Once a service is finished, the area will be wiped down and disinfected, ready and available for the next customer.

Wear gloves

All employees will be required to wear gloves at all times inside the salon.

Disinfect polish

All polishes and powders will be wiped and disinfected before placing them back on the shelves.

Here are some of the new procedures Nail Ink and Spa is implementing to protect the healths of our clients and employees:

  • All of our pedicure benches are 6 feet apart with paper liners that are changed after each client.

  • All polish samples are disinfected after each client. No customer touches the actual polishes.

  • Manicure tables are disinfected after each client.

  • Receptionist and staff disinfect the salon throughout the day. 

  • Salon has markings on the ground to insure proper social distancing.
